Shared Services Center

SSC, Shared Services Center/Shared Service Unit (SSC) - a separate service unit in a large distributed company or a dedicated service company in a group of companies. It is formed on the principle of separation of auxiliary operations of supporting departments (accounting, HR, financial departments, information security, etc.) from the main (core) activities of the company. Common service centers are created in order to save on rent, manpower (located in the respective regions) and to optimize, unify routine and sometimes expert functions.
