UI kit
**UI kit** is one of the simplest forms of storing visual components of interfaces used by UX/UI specialists. It is a ready-made set of graphic elements (buttons, icons, search bars, indicators, checkboxes, widgets, etc.) and templates, usually in PSD format.

It is used to solve the following tasks: - Creating a unified knowledge base in the form of a single document. It is convenient both for one specialist and for several specialists working together. Simplifies the process of knowledge transfer and the order of access to it. - Uniformity of design elements. The process of interface development is unified - all subsequent layouts and pages of one system stylistically and logically harmonize with the existing ones. Such unity of interface solutions saves not only time of UI-designers, but also of frontend-developers. - Work acceleration. A designer rarely has to draw elements from scratch. UI kit is used mainly in web design. It is developed both by teams themselves to unify their own design work, and by private UI specialists for sale as a ready-made template. Thus, for a small but systematically developing project UI kit will be an excellent library of data in the field of product design. For larger projects, for example in the field of corporate information systems development, an extended version of UI kit - a design system - will be required.
