NAS Technologies Launches U-Connect Discovery Connector on the SimpleOne Marketplace

Technology partner NAS Technologies has officially introduced its U-Connect discovery system connector on the SimpleOne Marketplace. SimpleOne is the business systems arm of the ITG corporation.

The U-Connect connector is the first solution from NAS Technologies to be published on the marketplace. It is designed to take the manual labor out of maintaining a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by automatically populating it with detailed information captured by U-Connect. This ensures that IT teams always have access to accurate, real-time infrastructure data within their automated workflows in SimpleOne.

The standout feature of this tool is its remarkable flexibility, allowing users to set up complex data mapping between integrated systems and implement advanced scenarios such as software normalization. The connector further streamlines operations by automatically triggering incidents or change requests whenever the actual state of a Configuration Item (CI) differs from its authorized state. Additionally, users can configure specific filters to flag newly discovered CIs, ensuring a smooth process for manual matching and verification.

The solution is optimized for high-volume environments and has been tested on infrastructures containing hundreds of thousands of CIs, making it a reliable choice for organizations of any scale.
