SimpleOne 2.1.1 ESM platform automates multilingual communication and reduces service downtime

published at: 22 April 2026

SimpleOne (ITG Corporation's Applied Business Systems business) has released version 2.1.1 of the Simple Application ESM platform, which contains tools for implementing the ESM (Enterprise Service Management) model, with two updates: a resource-service model with support for CMDB classes and multi-language declarations. The update includes a widget for creating content in different system languages, as well as tools for visualizing dependencies from business services to infrastructure resources.

The resource-service model in SimpleOne is now based on CMDB classes and customizable binding rules. The SimpleOne platform uses a configuration management database (CMDB) based on the extended REM data model: in contrast to the classic table inheritance approach, it allows flexible description of heterogeneous configuration units through dynamic models with unique attribute sets.

The update adds a directory of class linking rules, which defines permissible links between classes and the types of these links. Types of links are placed in a separate directory with the ability to fully customize the visual display. A separate class of configuration units "Service" is allocated for building a full-fledged resource-service model - it allows linking business services with specific infrastructure resources and tracking the impact of changes in the infrastructure on services.

When creating a new link, the system automatically takes into account the configured rules and allows you to select only the appropriate configuration units, eliminating the creation of incorrect links, duplicates and cyclic dependencies. The new functionality also provides a ready-to-use dependency model for impact analysis, which reduces the number of emergency changes and rollbacks, and visually identifies which IT components provide critical services.

Multi-language ad functionality simplifies communication in international companies. A new widget on the ad record form allows you to create content in different system languages. The system automatically detects the user's language and displays content in the appropriate language. If there is no translation or the language is not defined, a version in the default language is displayed.

When saving an ad, all changes are recorded centrally and the system automatically creates or updates related translation records in a special table, ensuring data integrity.

"In version 2.1.1, we have strengthened our support for international business: multi-lingual listings ensure uniform communication with customers and partners in different languages, payment requests and exchange rates increase transparency and manageability of financial transactions, and new configuration unit linking rules make the service model more structured and controllable"
