Grandbazar switched from a foreign service to the Russian SDLC system SimpleOne
published at: 4 March 2026
Grandbazar, the corporate and customer loyalty platform of the ITG corporation, has successfully transitioned from ClickUp to the SimpleOne SDLC management system. This move allowed the company to fully restore its Scrum team operations, providing essential sprint configurations and seamless GitLab integration while maintaining complete process continuity.
Grandbazar develops a platform equipped with ready-made tools for launching loyalty programs and promotional campaigns. Their development team relies on the Scrum methodology, operating with two-week release cycles and managing dozens of tasks within each sprint.
In 2024, when ClickUp became unexpectedly unavailable, the company was faced with the urgent task of rebuilding its entire development management system from the ground up. In such a high-pressure environment, the team needed a solution that supported Scrum processes, handled multi-level task hierarchies, and integrated directly with their version control system, GitLab.
SimpleOne SDLC enabled the team to rapidly deploy a base project structure, set up sprints and task boards, and establish a direct link to GitLab. The solution was easily adapted to meet the specific needs of different teams, including frontend, backend, design, and infrastructure.
“One day, ClickUp simply shut down. We had to move fast, and we began working in SimpleOne SDLC almost immediately, migrating our data in parallel over the course of just a few days.”Mikhail Bogdanov CEO of Grandbazar (ITG)
The migration was carried out without a single interruption to the team's ongoing work. Priority was given to active tasks, while archival data was moved over in stages. Just one week after losing access to their previous service, the team was fully operational within SimpleOne SDLC, successfully maintaining their two-week release schedule and typical workload.
Today, the team manages over 200 tasks per month through the platform. Planning, progress tracking, and sprint closures are now centralized in one place. The integration with GitLab allows every task to be linked to specific commits and branches, which has significantly improved transparency and simplified coordination between different teams.
“When a cloud service disconnects without warning, companies need an alternative that is both fast to deploy and fully functional. As this project with Grandbazar proves, SimpleOne SDLC allows an organization to roll out Scrum processes and GitLab integration in literally a matter of days, ensuring that product teams never lose visibility into their work.”Ruslan Sharipov CEO of SimpleOne (ITG)
Looking ahead, Grandbazar plans to further use the capabilities of the SDLC platform. This includes fine-tuning the connections between development and design tasks and customizing status models to fit the unique requirements of specific projects. The company is also exploring the synergy between SDLC and SimpleOne’s ITSM processes as a next step toward enhancing overall operational efficiency and manageability.
