SimpleOne 1.35.0 Cuts Manual SLA Configuration and Workflow Setup Time

SimpleOne has released version 1.35.0 of its Low-code GenAI platform. The update reduces the load on system administrators and cuts the number of manual actions needed, through more flexible SLA indicator configuration and the ability to copy workflow blocks, while also making it easier to work with records in related lists thanks to new support for bulk editing.

The key change in version 1.35.0 is more flexible configuration of SLA indicators. The parameters that drive indicator calculation — when the timer starts, when the deadline is considered breached, the working schedule, and the time zone — can now be defined not just manually, but also based on data pulled from records related to the request.

This capability is especially useful for geographically distributed companies. For example, a request's deadline might need to follow the schedule of the specific site that supports a given employee: the employee record has a city, the city has a servicing site, and the site has its own working calendar and time zone. Previously, administrators had to create a separate indicator for every calendar — customers reported ending up with 10–15 copies of essentially the same SLA. Now, one indicator is enough: it follows the chain of relationships and picks up the parameters it needs on its own. The calendar is just one of those parameters — the time zone and both time thresholds are set through the same mechanism. Since the source can be any record related to the request, it's not just a single scenario that adapts to context, but the entire SLA calculation.

The second major improvement is the ability to copy blocks in the workflow editor. Administrators can now copy an action block into the current process, or into other workflows, while keeping all of its configuration settings intact. This noticeably speeds up process configuration and cuts down on configuration errors.

Bulk editing has also been extended: it's now supported not just in primary record lists, but in related lists as well. Administrators and support agents can quickly apply the same change to several records at once, without having to switch to a separate list view.

Beyond the new functionality, version 1.35.0 also fixes a number of defects, including container issues, security vulnerabilities, and bugs in indicator behavior. The new platform version is available to current SimpleOne customers on request.
