SimpleOne Introduces Design Tokens for Unified Branding and Bulk Editing in Release 1.33.0

published at: 18 May 2026

SimpleOne has released version 1.33.0 of its low-code platform, focused on improving interface manageability, enhancing the user experience, and giving the system more flexibility to adapt to specific business needs. The new version introduces design tokens for centralized visual style customization, bulk editing of records directly from list views, and expanded attribute display within views. These changes reduce reliance on complex manual configuration and make the interface easier to work with.

End users and customers had been asking for more ways to customize the interface so they could align the platform with corporate standards and familiar workflows. The first step in that direction is design tokens — a tool for centralized management of visual style. Now, all of the platform's ready-made business applications (ITSM, ITAM, B2B CRM, HRMS, SDLC), as well as solutions built independently on SimpleOne, can be brought into line with a unified corporate brand identity through centralized configuration, without having to adapt each application separately. This lays the foundation for a proper interface management system. Upcoming releases will add design tokens for spacing, corner radius, and shadows, along with dark theme support — a long-requested feature among platform users.

The second change is bulk editing of records directly from list views. Users select the rows they need using checkboxes, click "Edit" in the component that appears, and set a new field value across all selected records — without opening each one individually. In version 1.33.0, this feature supports Choice and Reference field types. That makes it possible, for example, to reassign the assignee of several tasks in one action, or change the status of a whole batch of service requests at once.

The update also expands what's possible with the Record Extended Model (REM). Administrators can now display extended model attributes as columns in list views, both platform-wide and in personal view settings. In version 1.33.0, each view supports one extended model; inline editing, reporting built on this data, and import of tabular data and personal settings are planned for upcoming releases.

"With version 1.33.0, we delivered three changes that shift how people work with the platform day to day: bulk editing directly from list views, extended model attributes in list view columns, and a move toward centralized visual style management through design tokens. Each one solves a specific pain point, and together they push the platform toward becoming a more mature, manageable system."
