SimpleOne ITAM 1.7.0: accelerate asset performance and control operating costs

Russian developer SimpleOne (applied business systems division of ITG Corporation) has released version 1.7.0 of its IT asset management system. The update significantly reduces the operational costs of asset accounting and increases the transparency of financial management by automating routine operations and accounting for actual costs.
A key innovation of version 1.7.0 is the preconfigured functionality to bulk upload and update nomenclature records via the import tool. This gives the asset management department the ability to speed up data handling in the system and reduce errors due to built-in checks during file processing. The new feature is especially relevant for organizations with a high volume of nomenclature items where manual entry takes up significant resources.
Version 1.7.0 includes functionality for recording actual costs in operational asset accounting processes. This gives companies a tool to analyze the actual cost of work and make management decisions based on accurate financial data. Additionally, procurement planning has been improved - it is now possible to consolidate the needs of different financial responsibility centers into one order, which reduces the fragmentation of the procurement process.
The update expands the capabilities of managing complex assets. Customizable inheritance of accounting attributes from parent to child assets improves data integrity in the asset management database and reduces the amount of manual data synchronization.
The SimpleOne ITAM update simplifies accounting for assets without a serial number. Consumables and other asset types that do not have a unique factory ID can now be unmandated with a serial number at the nomenclature level. This eliminates the need for users to use stubs instead of serial numbers and makes data in the system more correct.
