Generations Y and Z

American consultants William Strauss and Neil Howe developed "generational theory" in the 1990s. A generation is defined as a set of people born within a period of about 20 years, with its representatives facing the same key historical events and social trends. According to the theory, each generation has a common set of values acquired in the first 12 years of life, which a person follows throughout his or her life.
Generation Y (Millennials) - people born roughly between 1980 and 2000 (average values, depending on the source, data differ by several years). The first generation deeply involved in digital technologies.
Generation Z - people who were born into the digital world (after 2000). Gadgets and the internet are natural to them. "Zetas" intuitively understand how to navigate devices. Are constantly in a digital environment. Worse able to concentrate on something. More demanding of goods, services and content.
