SimpleOne 1.34.0 Speeds Up Response to Critical Events and Reduces Internal Audit Risk

SimpleOne has released version 1.34.0 of its low-code platform. The new functionality addresses key business needs: cutting response time to critical events, reducing the risk of miscommunication between departments, and enabling secure audits without the risk of unauthorized changes to the system.

In version 1.34.0, SimpleOne added support for native browser push notifications. Users can now receive alerts about critical events across different devices and supported browsers, without needing to keep an eye on email or messaging apps. Push notification delivery is isolated from the core platform, so any delivery failures or load spikes don't affect the system's overall performance.

The Activity Feed has also been reworked: instead of a plain text field, it now runs on a visual WYSIWYG formatting editor. Assignees and business users can format messages directly in the request card — adding bold and italic text, lists, quotes, hyperlinks, and images. Previously created text messages display unchanged, so backward compatibility is fully preserved. Formatting isn't limited to the activity feed, either: administrators can convert existing Text-type columns to WYSIWYG while preserving the data — for example, text in a task description or a custom field. The column's properties stay the same, so there's no need to create a new field or migrate values manually.

The third change relates to administration: the platform has added an Auditor role. It grants read access to every table in the system — the same scope an administrator has — but without any permission to make changes. That makes it possible to run reviews and investigations without violating the principle of separation of duties.
