SimpleOne Unveils Platform Update 1.30.0 with Advanced Administration Features

published at: 28 November 2025

SimpleOne, the business systems arm of the ITG corporation, has released version 1.30.0 of its core platform. This update is specifically designed to make life easier for administrators by streamlining complex workflows and boosting overall system transparency. The key highlights include a new way to combine calendars, the ability to post comments on behalf of specific users, and more versatile dependency mapping tools.

A major improvement in this version is the introduction of nested calendars. Administrators can now roll "child" calendars into a master parent calendar, which then serves as the single source of truth for all system mechanisms. When a sub-calendar is updated, the master schedule adjusts automatically, eliminating the tedious annual chore of reconfiguring work schedules from scratch. For example, when updating SLA indicators that calculate working hours, you can simply add a sub-calendar with the latest public holidays, and the system will instantly apply those changes across all related metrics.

The update also solves a common challenge regarding data attribution. Previously, comments coming into the platform from external systems were often tagged generically as "Guest" or "System," making it difficult to identify the actual source of the message. Now, the API allows comments to be submitted with the name of the real sender. To keep the process secure, this feature is restricted to users with a specific authorized role — ensuring that only administrators or integration accounts with the proper permissions can use it, while every action remains fully tracked and audited.

Finally, the platform’s dependency mapping capabilities have been significantly expanded. System administrators now have more control over how their infrastructure is visualized. They can set up specific algorithms to build diagrams automatically based on the type or class of a Configuration Item (CI), or they can manually define the structure to create a dependency map that perfectly fits their unique needs.

“This update is a direct response to our customers' needs. We believe it’s essential to make life easier for those who work behind the scenes to keep the platform running. Our goal is to reduce the routine burden and provide more control for the administrators of enterprise-level systems.”
